PRESIDENTIAL FORM OF GOVT.

In Presidential form of government president is both the nominal head and the real head. once the president is elected he/she remains in power for a full term of four years. the president is elected directly y the people. Executive is independent of the legislature.e.g. U.S.A.

PARLIAMENTARY FORM OF GOVT.
 
  Here president is just the nominal head but the real head is prime minister.the PM and ministers remain in power as long as they enjoy the confidence of the legislature. They are not elected directly by the people.The legislature and Executive work in close cooperation.e.g. India
