Guru Nanak
Guru Nanak was a great mystic saint. He believed in one God and advised three practices- to chant God's true name, be honest and share with others.
He urged people to fight against superstition and preached against the discrimination of people. He said that all are equal before the eyes of God.
Guru Nanak established a community kitchen where people of all communities can come and cook and eat. His teachings formed the basis of the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of the Sikhs.
Kabir
Kabir was believed to be born to a Weaver family. Kabir was a great religious reformer. Through his two line hymns to God called Sakis and Dohas and bhajans he preached to lead a life of devotion.
Kabir was a follower of the Bhakti Saint, Ramanand and he believed in one supreme being. He asked people to show their love for God by loving and admiring all of God's creations.
