The sound is transmitted high in the solids so we can hear more sound in solids as compare to liquid and gases
The sound is transmitted at a medium level in liquids but high as compare to gases
The sounds are transmitted very slowly in gases as compare to both liquids and solids.

Answer:

sound travels fastest in solids as the moleclues are tigthly packed together.

liquid:

the moleclues are loose hence the sound travels slowly.

gaseous:

the moleclues are far apart from each other so zound travels the slowest in gases.
