Comparison between rationing system pre1997 and current rationing system

The main purpose of rationing system before 1997 was to distribute the food among people. Three programs were launched in this. Out of which one is still working which is known as public distribution system. Currently it is facing many controversies as the poor supervision and non timely distribution etc
