An Angel in disguise is a story written by TS Arthur. In this story he has reflected how, love ,care, compassion can change a cold hearted person to a kind hearted person.
Maggie was an orphaned child who was also physically disabled. Joe Thompson took her to his home as he loved children and he wanted to take care of Maggie.
But he was afraid of his wife as she was bit rude and cold hearted.
Although Joe was the angel in disguise in Maggie's life, but innocence , love, compassion of Maggie had made an impact on Mrs. Thompson.
She started getting fond of Maggie and empathized with her situation. At the end of the story both Mr and Mrs Thompson had adopted Maggie as their child as they fell in love with her beautiful heart.
So, as we know only light can wipe out darkness, likewise only love can wipe out hatred.
