One Good Cause
Sam everyday went cycling in the park during his summer vacation. Immediately after waking up, he would freshen up and come out for cycling. The park was at a few meters from his home and there he cycled for around one hour before going back home.
It was Thursday morning and the weather was pleasant as it was drizzling. Nevertheless, Sam picked up his cycle and started for the park. He had hardly gone hundred meters away when he saw his friend Vipul coming running towards him. He wanted Sam's help as his grandfather had suddenly taken ill and was hospitalized in a nearby nursing home. His grandfather needed immediate blood due to his illness and Vipul's family was unable to arrange anyone with the blood group O negative due to its rare occurrence among people. It struck him in the morning itself that Sam had the same blood group and he wanted him to go to the hospital with him for donating blood.
Sam, without any second thought, rushed to the nursing home and after a regular checking he donated his blood. Vipul felt very grateful and escorted him back home where he told his father about his kind act and thanked his parents too. Sam at the end of the day felt a great satisfaction as he was instrumental in saving someone's life. Vipul's grandfather showed improvement after giving him blood and doctors were hopeful of his recovery.

SAM AND HIS BIKE
Sam everyday went on cycling in the Park. He loved to cycle after coming back from School. Every morning he went to school on a car and came back on a bus, but he never liked it. He loved nature, the feel of being close to a city, feeling the air, sounds and smells and that is why he loved cycling.
So like every other day, he was cycling for over 30 mins in the park when he saw a new place at the end of the park that was leading to a forest.
There was a huge sign that said 'beware dangerous animals'
While this sign would scare most people, sam wasn't like most little boys and his curiosity got the most of him.
He cycled into the forest, and as he went on it became thicker and thicker until there was very little sunlight and he could not hear anything from the city, the cars and the horns faded away, as he was surrounded by the ambiance of a forest and he could hear all kinds of insects and birds.
Eventually, he got tired and he got off his bike and started to rest under a tree.
As he was resting he heard something from the above and saw some wild monkeys coming his way! he got scared and started to run away when he saw some elephants coming from the other side. For a minute, he froze, but then he remembered he had his trusty bike with him.
He quickly sat on it and peddled as fast as he could as he didn't even look behind.
He could hear the elephants and the monkeys but after a while he could see the entrance to the park again! He peddled even faster, and as he reached the park, he didn't look behind. He cycled on to his home, and without telling anyone, he ran to his room and started crying.
This was a scary experience but sam learned that he should be aware of signs and that he can always trust his bike!
