The four Gandhiji's early Satyagraha in India were:-
1. Ahmedabad Satyagraha of 1918
• The main reason for the Ahmedabad movement was the abolition of the plague bonus given by the mill-owners to the laborers.
• The British Collectors pressured the mill owners to settle the case.
• Mill workers wanted to retain this bonus, because the inflation had raised highly due to the WW-1. And the bonus they was recieving was much less than the increased inflation.
2. Rowlatt Satyagraha of 1919
• This law gave the British government the right to imprison any Indian without imprisonment.
• The Rowlatt Act was also known as the Black Law.
• It was created by the British government in India to crush the emerging national movement in India.
3. The Champaran Satyagraha of 1917
• It was India's first civil disobedience movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi in Champaran district of Bihar.
• The main focus of the Champaran movement for Mahatma Gandhi was to address the plight of Champaran farmers.
4. Kheda Satyagraha of 1918
• Mahatma Gandhi campaigned against British rule, the largest peasant movement in Gujarat.
• After Champaran, Gandhiji worked tirelessly to improve the worsening condition of farmers in Kheda.
