Steapsin is a digestive enzyme of pancreatic juice that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fats to fatty acids and glycerol. A nuclease is an enzyme which cleaves the phosphodiester bonds between the nucleotide subunits of nucleic acids. Examples of nucleases are deoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease.
