Convex lens we have a point object. A ray from the point object on the principal axis is incident on the convex lens and is refracted. See the diagram for the ray after refraction and forming a real image on the other side of lens.
To find the image, we take also another ray passing through the pole O of the lens. This goes undeviated for a thin lens. So A' is the image of object A.
