CH3-CH = CH2 + HCl  ------------------------------  CH3-CH2 -  CH2Cl
 { Propene}                                                         {Propyl chloride}
                                                                            {Chloro Propene}

This reaction is an example of an Addition Reaction. The products formed under such reaction is called as Additions Product.

All the members of the Alkene series reacts with the Hydrogen chloride under the same manner.
