Cerebrum’ is assigned to a region of your brain, while the cerebellum is a completely different structure within the brain. Your cerebrum is the main mass of the brain. The part that you normally would picture in your head when you think of the brain. This includes your main lobes of the brain: frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital. It’s the right and left hemisphere of the brain.

Now, your cerebellum, on the other hand, is located at the very back of your brain, and is tucked just underneath the cerebrum. Some refer to it as the second little brain, as its shape resembles the cerebrum, but it is about a fourth of the size. The cerebellum plays an important role in brain function, particularly in coordination and in movement. Most movements require multiple muscle groups to work simultaneously, and the cerebellum acts sort of like a puppet master and keeps each of the plates spinning properly.
