I realized that i had not shut the door of my stidy room. The moment i can on terrace, i saw a man climbing up the rear wall of our neighbor, Ramesh Lal.
I shouted at the person but he/she didn't seem to care. it was most likely a man because of the body structure. It was quiet dark so i couldn't really see. I ran as fast as i could downstairs and went to Ramesh.
I knocked on the door and rang the bell but he wouldn't open the door.
I quickly called him but he wouldn't pick the phone either. It was night and now I knew that he was a geavy sleeper.
I dialed 100 on my phone to contact the police.
They asked what my emergency was and i told them the situation. While on the phone telling the information, I managed to tell some people near my house about the man who climbed the rear wall of Ramesh's house, hoping they could help.
After the phone call, I auickly went to my terrace, catched my breath and saw that the man is trying to find an entrance as the door is locked.
It has been freaking 20 minutes and he is still trying to pick a lock? I thought.
Just the moment i blinked my eye, he opened the lock.
I could hear the police sirens near the area.
Finally they are here. I breathed out.
When hearing the sirens, The theif noticed that i had silently called the police and tell the others while he went inside to create a theft scene.
Soon enough, the theif was being handcuffed and being seated in the police car. Gave me a dirty look, i shrugged it off.
The police thanked me for informing the situation, and so did Ramesh.
I was quite shy and happy.
After everyone went back to their home, I went to close the door of my study room which was open from the past 40 minutes.
I closed the door and checked for any burglars in my house or a theft scene but everything was fine.
I switched off the lights of my house and went to my bedroom to sleep.
