My mother asked me to go to the market in the evening. Initially, first I wanted to avoid but then thinking she needed milk for my little brother I left home reluctantly. I reached the market and was about to pay money for the milk when suddenly I saw a small kid who was begging for money with his little sister. I was moved by the condition of the beggar and thought that if my brother won’t have milk for a day then he would survive but if this little girl won’t get milk today then she would probably die.Then, without giving it a second thought I gave all the money I had to those siblings for their meal. I went home empty handed. At first, my mother scolded me without hearing the whole story. She thought that I might have spent the whole money in ice cream or chocolates. But upon hearing the whole story she felt proud of me and patted my back for the generous work. Thus, we should always help others at the time of their need. It is well said that God helps those who help themselves.
