It was a cold night and i reached my neighbors house. I was shivering as it was snowing heavily. I felt blessed to be heading inside to a warm cozy house in this weather on Christmas eve instead of sitting on the corner of the street like always.

I remembered how every year, feeling cold and hungry i would end up knocking doors of houses for food.

But since my adoption, my new parents had given me a new life, and i loved them every bit.

My mother opened the door with a smile, welcoming me with open arms. And in her smile, i saw my future ahead.
