on the day I went for a morning walk , suddenly a horrible storm came and heavy rain started...I ran towards the nearby shelter. It was a old Church as the new Church was built in the middle of the city. A little drops of rain were falling from very minor crackes of the church. I took a stroll across it , and experienced it's beauty. Then I was at the door, I saw lots of water on the roads.It was inappropriate to walk on. I looked at the trees , they were bending before the lord of rain,i.e. the horrible storm. There was no one on the streets. I keep watching the rain. Suddenly my phone rang. And it went silent. Because of bad connection due to weather ,I thought. I was looking at the streets like I was searching for something. And I found a boy , holding on tight to a strong tree, expecting it should provide shelter but obviously, it was completely bare. He was crying as he was holding the tree. He must be 8 years old , I thought. And I covered myself with my jacket , which was not helping. And ran towards the other side of the road where the boy was surviving. I told him to come with me. But he denied. Then I asked why. And that was the most pleasing thing in the world. That boy showed me a mother cat trying to protect her little four kittens. And he was trying to protect them. He explained. I was moved by this scenario. Heavy winds were blowing. i was completely wet and was barely able to stand in the marshy road covered with water. I took the box in which the cats were hidden in one hand and took the boys hand in another. I was trying to pull them but their condition was same as mine. But we didn't give up and reached to that chruch . I kept the cats and the boy warm by hugging and comforting with inspiring tales. And the storm stopped. It was 10o clock in the morning. And the sun was finally out. And there came a big , beautifully coloured rainbow. Which tinted the entire sky with infinity. And the boy was not scared anymore , so he left home, kissing me and the cats goodbye. The mother cat and the kittens looked at me as they were saying thankyou and left. And I continued my walk towards home, in that beautiful morning, in that new day.
