yesterday I was going to school on the way I saw a child in the middle of the road a car was coming at full speed before anyone could react the car collided with kid and he died on the spot.
I was in the car with my parents they prevented me from seeing the scene outside as they called up the ambulance . I sat in the car quietly thinking what could be the reason for the accident was it the drivers fault , the kid's fault or it was just an accident .
when my parents came back we went on our way . That evening me and my parents went to the temple to pray for the kid .
layer my parents told me that the driver had been intoxicated while driving and said that he had not seen the kid crossing the road.
The kid had been crossing the road on the zebra crossing without any distractions ,he had been following all the rules but still it ended up this way all because of some person getting drunk for fun and then driving under the influence of alcohol .
This was so unfair ! why did the innocent kid have to pay the price for some drunkard's fun! maybe it is time that people start taking the "DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE" slogans seriously !
