Ketene have the cumulated double bonds that is two double bonds are present on the same carbon. It is highly poisonous and unstable. It dimerizes easily.

Ketene is used for the preparation of number of organic compounds like acids, esters, thioesters, amide, anhydride and a number of cyclic compounds.

As per question, when ketene react with a acid, it gives acid anhydride as a product.
