Hours of darkness:-

On a quiet and peaceful night. I was studying late to prepare for the science exam

next day. Suddenly some one rang the bell....

The ringing of bell started sending chill vibes to my veins. I could've not controlled myself from shivering. Resisting a bit, buried feet, I opened the door. But for my shock, there wasn't anything. I just had a sigh of relief and chilled a bit. I returned to my room and again started studying for the exam. It wasn't much delay when someone again rang the bell. This time, I quickly went out to check who was it. And the moment I was about to open my door, I heard some noises from my room. I ran back to my room and saw that the whole cupboard had fell down and broken. I got a bit scared because of this chaos. By the time I was not out of this shock, again the bell rang. This time I got a bit irritated and asked shouting who's there.

When there was no reply back. I ran down to hall, and then reached the door. I peeped out from the eye hole seeing who is ringing the bell again and again. Waiting for around five minutes, the bell again rang and I saw Raju, most mischievous boy of our colony runing here and there around. I just stopped him. And warned him to not do it again. When I said that it was third time I have heard his bell, he started crying and said that he has rang the bell for the first time. I was supposed to shout at him, but I ask him to go back. Again I reached my room, and started studying for exam. But the fallen cupbourd and bell incident kept on haunting me a lot.

Next day, I wrote the exam. It was pretty good. Later, I shared the same incident with my friends. And for my shock, even they had experienced same the previous day. But, it did never happened with us again. With every single passing day, the incident faded off our memory. But it scares me even today, when I think about it again.
