Answers
Answer:
The Bells are ringing
The snow is Shivering
My boots are sinking
And the on fire place is dying
Here comes Christmas
Just as folks inside were ringing in the new year,
An old woman was shivering outside, her eyes full of frozen fear.
The heartbeats slowed, she knew she was gradually sinking,
When a child pulled her indoors, and saved humanity from dying.
It is not necessary to write in rhyming lines, but we are used to reading poems in rhyme. In these lines, the contrast between the rich and the poor, indoors and outdoors, and the old woman and child are clear. Yet another idea is how a child responds and saves the old lady. The child is innocent and shows compassion and saves the old lady from dying and also saves the kindness of humanity from dying out altogether.
