composition on 'why weekends need to be longer'.
Answers
Answer:A three-day weekend provides more leisure time, reduces commuting and energy consumption. Although it would mean that essential services are closed on that additional day and working days would generally be longer to fit the usual five-day workload into four.
Answer:
Students need more than two days off. Kids get tired during the week and with only two days off they can't regain their strength to go back to school. Even with one extra day off the students will get enough rest to be ready to get back into the routine of wakening up and going to school.
Teachers need breaks too. For teachers it's hard to juggle all the paper work and computer grades and their own children. But, with one extra day off I think it would be easier for them to get caught up with their work so they won't take their stress out at school. It's truly a better environment for the students and fellow faculty and staff members.
Now, with the parents it's another situation. Some adults only get Sundays off and so, it's only harder to get a babysitter for their kids. But, for the parents who do get both Saturday and Sunday off it's only better, because they get to spend more quality time with their kids. Honestly, I don't think it's fair that kids see their teachers more than their own parents. So, with an extra day off, parents can spend more time with their kids, which is better for everyone.
Even with animals it's better. Most pets need attention, and with an extra day with owners there's a better chance that they won't go crazy. This one day can help everyone out, even our beloved furry friends.
In conclusion, having just that one day off can help everyone out. Including, students with their sleep, teachers with their stress, parents and their relationship with their children, and even pets and their desire for attention. As you can see with just one day everyone will be happier in life.
