Answer:

1. N2H4O3

2.N2H4O3

3.NH4NO3

Explanation:

i)

element   %comp    at wt.   relative no. of atoms       simplest ratio

  N                35         14            35/14=  2.5                      2.5/2.5= 1x2 = 2

  H                  5           1               5/1=     5                         5/2.5=  2x2  = 4

  O                60         16             60/16= 3.75                  3.75/2.5= 1.5x2 = 3

Emperical formula= N2H4O3

ii)

Emperical formula wt. = 14x2 +2x5 +16x3 = 80

n = Emperical formula wt.   = 80/80 = 1

    relative molecular mass

molecular formula= n[Emperical formula]

                                = 1xN2H4O3

                                = N2H4O3

iii) we know that the compund  is a nitrate,

    if u take no3 out, ur left with 1 N and 4H,

    so the compund is NH4NO3
