Compound such as glucose & alcohol also contain hydrogen but are not acids.why ?

here is your answer ...

acids dissociate in aqueous solutions to give H+ (Aq)

but compound such as glucose and alcohol do not ionize in aqueous solutions hence they are not categorised as acids .
