1. The big brother as described in the story is a person who always studies and states that he wants to make a solid foundation through his education, so that a magnificent structure could be built upon it.

2.The narrator likes to spend his time on playing.

3.The narrator drew up a time table so that he could have time for studying and playing.However, he couldn't follow the time table as the playground was more attractive than sitting and studying.

4.The big brother softened a bit when he ended up being only a grade ahead of him.

5.The narrator had a change of heart in the end

because he realised the importance of his elder brother. He realised that no matter how intelligent we are from our elders, we must respect them and they always have the right to lecture us and scold us, when they need to correct us.

1. The Big Brother has been described as a caring and vigilant older sibling. who keeps and I out on his younger brother, he is also a rather slow learner but appreciate the hardship that's his parents have leave through for them and want his brother to understand and appreciate that.
2. the narrator was still like to spend his time playing Marvels or flying kite in the field with his friend.
3. the narrator draw up a time table because of the received at monishment he received from his brother about how he should study hard and not waste their father's hard yen money that narrator finds he externally difficult to streat to the time table draw by him.
4. after failing in class 9 exam for the second time the big brother change his behaviour.
5. his big brother told him about the important of the main things in lite and how to priotise thing family values and their parents hard work to make their lite more comfortable he also told me not to the proud of have caught of academically with his brother since this are not achievements until and unless one learns what it truly important in their life. this approach of the brother his brother help in bringing about it change of heart in narrator at the end.
