Hi Friend ,
distance travelled = 4+3 = 7Km.
displacement = shortest distance between two points
                   = √(4²+3²)
                    = √25
                    = 5Km.
Wish It Helps ^_^

Hi frnd,
(i) The distance travelled = 4+3 = 7 km.
(ii) Displacement refers to the shortest distance between the initial and the final point.
so displacement by Pythagoras theorem:
= √(4)sq.+(3) sq.
= √16+9
= √25
= 5 km
Hope this helped u...
