Answer:

1.2042×10^23  ions

Explanation:

According to given data,

5.85 g of NaCl=  5.85 /5.85

=0.1 moles  of NaCl particle

Each NaCl particle contains 2 ions Na ^+ and Cl  ^−

 ⇒ Total moles of ions =0.1×2 =0.2 moles

No. of ions =0.2×6.022×10^23

=1.2042×10^23  ions

ANSWER:-

=> 58.5 g of NaCl has number of ions =6.02 \times  {10}^{23}  \times 2

As,. NaCl -------->  {Na}^{ + }  +  {Cl}^{ - }

5.85 g of NaCl has number of ions=

 \frac{6.022 \times  {10}^{23} \times 2 \times 5.85 }{58.5} </em></strong></p><p></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>= 12.044 \times  {10}^{22}  </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>= 1.2044 \times  {10}^{23}
