Answer:

Molarity of the glucose solution in blood = 0.005M

Explanation:

Molecular  weight of Glucose (C₆H₁₂O₆) = 180.156 g/mole

Amount of glucose in blood = 90 mg = 90 × 10^-3 g

Moles of glucose in the blood = Weight in g/Molecular weight

                                                 = (90 × 10^-3)/180.156

                                                  = 5 × 10^-4 moles

Molarity of a solution is given by

Molarity = No. of moles of solute/Volume of solution in Litres

Molarity of the glucose = (5 × 10^-4)/(100 × 10^-3) = 5 × 10^-3 mol/lt = 0.005M
