answer : option (c) 5.3 × 10-¹²

given, concentration of the Ag+ ions in a saturated solution of Ag2C2O4 is 2.2 × 10-⁴ mol/L

i.e., [Ag+] = 2.2 × 10-⁴ mol/L

so, [C2O4^2-] = [Ag+]/2 = 1.1 × 10-⁴ mol/L

dissociation reaction of Ag2C2O4 is ....

Ag2C2O4 ⇔2Ag+ + C2O4^2-

so, solubility product, Ksp = [Ag+]² [C2O4^2-]

= (2.2 × 10-⁴)² × (1.1 × 10-⁴)

= × 4.84 × 10^8 × 1.1 × 10-⁴

= ( 4.84 × 1.1) × 10-¹²

= 5.324 × 10-¹²

≈ 5.3 × 10-¹²
