Natural and man-made disasters can have a distressing impact on small businesses, which is why it’s critical to have a disaster management strategy in place. This is a plan that outlines what hazards your business is at risk of facing, what you can do to avoid or manage them and how to get your business back up and running should a disaster strike. The conclusion of your disaster management plan reiterates the salient points and provides actionable takeaways.

Answer:

Disasters are something that cause damage of property and loss of life. The prevention and cure of these devastating disasters is known as Disaster Management. India is a country prone to many disasters. With earthquakes towards the north western side, the floods in the south, and droughts of the East, as well as accidents like the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, India is susceptible to all kinds of disasters due to the geographical aspects. The government, thus, has taken various steps against disasters. It introduced  the Disaster Management Act in 2005, with apt systems for proper management. Areas prone to such disasters are being trained on how to rescue themselves and their families. Most of the natural disasters’ effects are being made worse due to human activities like industrialization and deforestaction. The spurt in the increasing demand for factories has made their effects worse for millions of families. These activities must be controlled to reduce the destructive effects.
