➡️It has the 2m class Chandra telescope which is controlled by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA).
➡️The Vainu Bappu Observatory in Kavalur, Tamil Nadu, has the largest telescope in Asia and is operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA).
➡️The Kodaikanal Solar Observatory is located in the Palani Hills in Tamil Nadu.
➡️It has records of solar data for a period of more than 100 years.
➡️The data records preservation, is looked after by generations of the same family.
