Let us consider that the radius of the circular field = r m

Then, the perimeter of the circular field
= 2πr m

Then, the cost of fencing at Rs 15 per meter is

= Rs (2πr × 15)

= Rs (30πr)

By the given condition,

30πr = 3300

⇒ πr = 110

⇒ r = 110 × 7/22 [∵ π = 22/7]

⇒ r = 35

So, the radius of the circular field = 35 m

Now, the area of the circular field

= πr² m²

= (22/7 × 35²) m²

= 3850 m²

∴ the cost of flooring the circular field at the rate of Rd 100 per square meter be

= Rs (3850 × 100)

= Rs 385000
