Let the volume of liquid is A .
Then , A/3 liquid evaporates on first day.
Remaining liquid on first day = A- A/3 = 2A/3
3 × 2A/4 ×3 liquid evaporates on second day.
Remaining liquid on second day = 2A/3 - A/2
= (4A-3A)/6
= A/6
1/6th fraction of the volume is present at the end of the second day.
