Conclusion on Heredity:

Heredity, also known as Inheritance is the transferring of traits and similarities from the parents into their offspring or kids. This is done either through sexual or asexual reproduction. The cells of the offspring acquire genetic information from their parents.

For e.g., if you acquired blue eyes from your father, it is an inherited characteristic from your father’s genes. Heredity is known to be ‘passed from one generation to the other’ with the help of DNA. This was proposed by ‘Charles Darwin’ in his book “The Theory of Evolution” back in 1859.
