India has maximum net sown area in the world. most of the farm work is done by either animal labour and human labour farming in India is mainly depend on the monsoons farmers are generally poor and illiterate food crops are mainly grown for their on consumption. method of farming are traditional with less use of quality seed fertilizers machines it is there is lack of credit and storage facility and the yield per hectare and also is very low the standard of living of farmer in India is very poor.
