Women are the important part of any society , So their part in any society is essential for the growth of society. There are different views about women empowerment but the truth is that the women are now empowered in these days. You have seen a number social societies and organizations working in it and whenever they see injustice they stood for the women empowerment . We  have also witnessed that the women can handle pressure as well control the administration . Now you have seen the women are the essential part of the government in many countries ,they are working as ministers and some even worked at prime minister levels. We also see the tv anchors and the women working on the film and drama by their own wish . They are realizing now their strength . The work of women at law enforcement forces is also admirable , there are women who are at high ranked police officer and even the army officers. But still there are very much to do about this as the some societies don't want and like a women and are not in rights of women these are mostly belongs to the un educated people.

Are women empowered in our society?

Undoubtedly, the women these days are more empowered than they ever were a few decades ago. Owing to the spread of education and liberal ideas, women enjoy much more freedom than they used to in the past. We have many indicators that prove it.

First and foremost is the LAW of the country. Women have equal rights to men. The law protects women’s rights. In case there is any violation, the law takes quick action against the offenders. We have many women ministers, officials, bureaucrats, military, air-force, navy, police, etc. In the BJP led Government we have some really charismatic Cabinet ministers such as Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani, and Nirmala Sitharaman.

The literacy rate of women is becoming higher; female foeticide is decreasing; gender ratio and discrimination is also falling. The number of women working is increasing. We have women who guard the hostile international borders; we have women fighter pilots in the Indian Air-force; more women players are winning medals for India in sports. Who does not remember P.V. Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, etc.?

All the above mentioned trends and facts indicate that women are more empowered in our society now.
