Conflicting goals can be developmental goals for one person but it may be destructive for another person like if a large dam is created the contractors , industries and some other person are benefited from it but the person who have to leave their land are not benefited from it.

Many times our development goals might be conflicting for the others. What we need for our development may become destructive for someone else. Conflicting goals are development goals but only for one side. Eg. 1.An industrialist wants to cut the forest and construct factories whereas it will be destructive for the tribal people. They would be displaced from their homes and livelihood.

2. In a household the sister might want to be treated equally and may want her brother to help in house chores but the brother may object.

This means that some goals which are constructive for someone might be destructive for someone else
