Answer:

± 13  & ± 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say consecutive odd numbers are

2n-1 & 2n+1

Sum of their squares = 394

(2n-1)² + (2n+1)² = 394

=> 4n² + 1 - 4n  + 4n² + 1 + 4n = 394

cancelling 4n

=> 8n² + 2 = 394

=> 8n² = 394 -2

=> 8n² = 392

=> n² = 49

=> n² = (± 7)²

=> n = ± 7

Case 1 - When n =7

2n-1 = 2 * 7 - 1 = 13

2n + 1 = 2*7 + 1 = 15

So consecutive odd numbers are  13 & 15

case 2 when n = -7

2n - 1 = 2 * (-7) - 1 = -15

2n + 1 = 2 * (-7) + 1 = -13

Consecutive odd numbers are -13 & -15
