Consider a book is kept on a table.following two forces are acting on the book:
(i) a force N, upwards applied by the table
(ii) a force W, downwards applied by the earth

Can we call these forces as an action- reaction pair? If not, why?

the forces acting on the book which is kept on a table is...........a) a force that by the table is up ward normal force and the force that applied by the earth is gravitational force........i don't know they call action-reaction pair......

smily12shreeya: Give the reason plz!!!
sravan6: i said na i don't know, but i think it is not a pair of action-reaction pair
sravan6: bcuz the force not follow the laws of Newton so they are not action-reaction pairs
