Let the point P be in the plane S

The needle is in North.

Hence the angle of declination is zero.

Also P is on the magnetic equator.

therefore cycle of dip δ=0

The point Q is also on the magnetic equator.

Hence the angle of dip is zero.

Since the earth is tilted on its axis by 11.3∘

The declination at Q is 11.3∘

answer: 11.3∘
