Answer:

1- In plants leaves are made up of parenchyma cells which consists of a thin layer of chloroplasts. Chloroplasts are the cell organelle in plants which prepare food and nourish the plant through the parenchyma cells.

2- Respiration in plant cell organelle occurs in mitochondria.

3- In plants transportation of water from roots to leave takes place through xylem tissues. In xylem tissues xylem parenchyma, tracheids and vessels are responsible for the transportation of water.

a. Nutrition: Chloroplast

b. Respiration: Aerobic - mitochondria, anaerobic - cytoplasm

c. Transportation - cell wall, cell membrane and endoplasmic reticulum.

Explanation:

  • All green parts of the plant consists of sales container chloroplast. The chloroplast responsible for the process of photosynthesis which provides nutrition for the plant.
  • The respiration of plant is divided into two parts aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration.
  • Aerobic respiration mainly consists of the Krebs cycle and electron transport system which takes place in the ‘mitochondria’ and glycolysis takes place in the ‘cytoplasm’.
  • The transportation within the cells is done by the endoplasmic reticulum and the transportation between two or more cells takes place by diffusion and active transportation with the help of various type of channels present in the cell wall and cell membrane.
