Acceleration of Center of mass given by
cm = \frac{ (m \times f)  + ( m \times 0)}{m + m}
sum of each mass into its acceleration,
upon total mass.
so, we get
Hence, Acceleration Cm = f/2
Same formula is used for calculating velocity as well as position from origin.
