Let the point M on side QR.

By phythagoras theorem,

PQ²= PM²+MQ²

(17)²=(15)²+MQ²

MQ²=289-225

MQ=²√64

MQ=8.

and similarly,

PR²=PM²+MR²

(25)²=(15)²+MR²

MR²=625-225

MR=²√400

MR=20.

Now length of QR=MR+QR

=20+8

=28.
