hey mate here is ur answer...
resistance of 1st parallel combination ---
1/R = 1/r1 + 1/r2
= 1/30 + 1/20
= 1/12
R. = 12 ohm
resistance of 2nd parallel combination ---
1/R = 1/r1 + 1/r2+ 1/r3
= 1/10 + 1/20 + 1/60
= 10/60
R. = 6 ohm
Now,
current 1 (I 1) = v / r
= 24 /12 = 2 amp
current 2 (I 2) = v / r
= 24/ 6 = 4 amp
total current = 2 + 4
= 6 amp
