In case of a series circuit, all the resistances installed there should be added up to get the resultant resistance, as per Ohm’s Law.

So here, the equivalent resistance of the given circuit is

R1 + R2+ R3+ R4 + R5 = 3 +3 +3 +3+ 3 = 15 Ohm.
