there are 14 consonants in hangul
ㅂ (b)
ㅈ (j)
ㄷ (d)
ㄱ (g)
ㅅ (s)
ㅁ (m)
ㄴ (n)
ㅇ (no sound/ng)
ㄹ (somewhere between r and l)
ㅎ (h)
ㅋ (k)
ㅌ (t)
ㅊ (ch)
ㅍ (p)
