The Constitution of India ensures the following:

a. Our constitution gives an extensive set of Fundamental rights to all irrespective of any discrimination on the basis of caste, class, creed , religion or sex.
b. One can also give example of how our Constitution guarantees that the rights of the minorities are duly protected through Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles. Example of minority rights are Right to freedom of religion, cultural and educational right.
c. The Constitution has entrusted the power on the Supreme Court of India to protect the rights of the individual against arbitrary exercise of power,The Constitution has made these rights justiceable , that is we can invoke them in the court of law. The judiciary serves as the guardian of these fundamental rights
d.Judiciary is the supreme guardian of our Fundamental Rights. Article 32 , that is Right to constitutional Remedies allows individual to challenge any law of the central or state government or any policy decision of the executive if it violates our fundamental rights. In such case, the Supreme Court or the high court has the power to issue writs, which is their prerogative. It is the written formal document an order or a direction issued by for the enforcement of fundamental rights. They are issued by the Supreme Court or the High Court.They are issued by the higher authority to the lower authority to follow a particular course of action. The following writs are provided in our Constitution:
Habeas Corpus
Mandamus
Prohibition
Quo Warranto
Certiorari
e. The Constitution also clearly mentions that no person shall be deprived of his fundamental right except under the provision established by law.
f. These rights are legally recognised and mandated by law. They are sanctioned by the constitution .
