1.first draw a base line segment to construct the angle upon.
2.the taking a small and appropriate radius, draw an arc cutting the line segment, by keeping the compass on the line segment's end.
3.keeping the same radius, put the compass on the point where the previous arc had cut the line, and cut that arc.
4.at the point where both arcs cut, draw a line joining this point to the end of the line, where the compass was 1st kept.
5. this gives you an angle of 60 degrees. bisecting this will give a 30 degrees angle
6. for this, take an appropriate distance in the compass and draw 2 arcs, one where the 60 degree point was formed and one where the arc cuts the line.
7. the point where the 2 arcs meet is the point where 30 angle will be formed.
