Me: Excuse me ma'am.

Teacher: Yes, Aarya. Do you need anything?

Me: Ma'am, I had a do(u)bt. I did not understand the explanation of the last line.

Teacher: It is a simple line. What did you not understand?

Me: If the crow is a bad omen, and the poet is using it positively, does it mean that the poet is confused?

Teacher: Not at all. It means that the poet is trying to show how a 'bad one' is not really bad. It is all in our heads. Anything can be taken positively.

Me: Now I understand. I thought the poet was confused and was further confusing the readers.

Teacher: I am glad you understand now. I am sure there are others in class who had the same do(u)bt, but did not ask for clarification; so, thank you for asking your question.

Me: Thank you ma'am.

Teacher: Let us continue with the poem.
