Thus, ABCD is the required parallelogram.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Construct a parallelogram ABCD where AB=6.8cm,AC=8cm and BD=7.3cm

We know that diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

Diagonal are cuts at point O

AO=\frac{1}{2}\times AC= \frac{1}{2}\times 8=4cm

And BO=\frac{1}{2}\times BD= \frac{1}{2}\times 7.3=3.65cm

Following steps:

  • Draw a line AB=6.8cm
  • Take measure of 4cm draw a curve from point A
  • Also from point B,take measure 3.65cm and draw a curve which cuts before curve at point O
  • Join AO and BO
  • Extend AO to a point C such as OC=4cm or AC=8cm
  • Extend BO to a point D such that OD=3.65cm or BD=7.3cm
  • Join BC,CD and AD

Now, ABCD is the required parallelogram.
