Construction:

1. Draw a line segment BC of length 5.6 cm
2. With B as center and radius as 5.2 cm, draw an arc.
3. With C as center and radius as  4 cm, draw an arc to cut the previous arc at D.  
4. With C as center and radius as 5.2 cm, draw an arc.
5. With B as center and radius as  4 cm, draw an arc to cut the previous arc at A.  
6. Join AB, AD and CD.
7. ABCD is the required parallelogram.
