We will have to find out angle R by using parallel line properties:

Step of construction:-

  1. Draw a line segment PQ = 8 cm.
  2. With a centre Q draw an angle ZQP = 60°.
  3. Open a compass at 6 cm and draw an arc on line ZQ name at R.
  4. With a centre R draw an angle XRQ = 120°.
  5. Open a compass at 4 cm and draw an arc on line XR name at S.
  6. Then Join points P to S.
